The Brief
Abodoo needed to educate companies on how smartworking will save them money in the long run and promote a happier, healthier workforce. They also wanted to attract talented professionals and show them that working remotely, or a hybrid of office and home is not isolating but in fact, with the right technology, they will never feel more connected. The animations would be used across social media, at events and during business pitches.

The Challenge
There were a number of challenges Abodoo faced. First and foremost, some people had trouble pronouncing Abodoo, so we needed to come up with a clever way of remembering the name. Next, we also needed to explain the term smartworking while also selling the concept to companies that may not buy into allowing their employees work off-site. Other challenges included explaining how the platform’s smart matching technology worked and the importance of supporting technologies.

The Solution
True to form, all of our communication with Abodoo’s Chief Digital Officer was conducted via conference calls and email and tested the theory that, with the right tools, major projects can be conducted successfully. The use of online surveys and in depth Zoom web calls contributed to our research and enabled our team to create five stunning animations. One B2B aimed at the Irish market, one B2B highlighting global statistics, one B2C focussing on the benefits for candidates and employees, and two shorter B2B animations summarising the overall message. The key messages that Abodoo wanted to convey were delivered exactly as our client wanted and they were instrumental in getting clients over the line to sign up to the service.

Carlton Hotel is a modern 4 star hotel located just five minutes from Dublin Airport. Due to its convenient location, it is popular amongst Irish people all over the country as they can stay at the hotel the night before their flight and leave their car for the duration of their trip.

In early April 2018, as they prepared to enter the summer season, Carlton wanted to reach people travelling to the capital to fly out of Dublin Airport on holiday. Their Summer "Park, Sleep & Fly" package offers a one night stay at the hotel and parking while guests are away. They requested a 30 second animation for use on social media,that helped convey this message to Irish couples and families.

The Challenge
With multiple hotels in the vicinity of the airport offering similar style packages, it can be difficult for customers to choose the best option. Carlton needed to stand out from the crowd and convince guests of why they should choose Carlton over their competitors.

The Solution
Our team worked alongside Carlton's Marketing Department to discover the pain points for guests and how this offer would solve their problems. We then began the process of composing scripts, designing storyboards and producing an energetic animation that increased engagement and drove people to their site. Within the first week of going live, Carlton received 30,000 views on social media and a surge in hits to their website. Carlton were impressed with how powerful a tool animation can be and how engaged the viewers were.
